Professional Background

John Warren is an Apprenticeship trained, Engineering Graduate (that was a long time ago), Lean, Six Sigma qualified, experienced Operations, General Business and Change Manager with over 44 years of operations and change management experience in both shrinking and growing business environments for 15 major, global, Blue Chip Companies. 

John enjoys and is very capable of motivating and harnessing both people and teams to generate significant improvements in productivity and business performance.  

John coaches, (a professional Personal, Corporate and Executive Coach), mentors and trains your people, at all levels, to ensure that the Change is embedded securely in the organisation.

Professional background as an Interim Manager

Now in his 10th year as an Interim Manager, he has worked with 10 Blue Chip companies over 22 contracts, such as:-

• Vista Jet Holdings Executive Jet Company (implementing SAP Finance)
• Associated British Ports (Implementing SAP Asset Management)
• Bombardier (implementing SAP S/4 HANA);
• The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (moving UK RAF stations and ARMY bases);
• e2v (as the VP of Operations; as a Senior Programme Manager and implementing SAP ME / MII); 
• Lockheed Martin (as a Sub Contract Programme Manager - trouble shooter); 
• Meggitt (as a SAP Implementation Programme Manager - 7 Global sites); 
• Smiths Detection (as the Global Inventory Manager & VMI Implementer); 

and smaller companies or sites  such as 

• Curtiss Wright (as a Professional Coach & Implementer of 5S);
• RIGCOM Access (as a Operations Director / Consultant / Due Dilengce).  

Professional background as  a permanent employee

Previously, he was the Operations Director or the Manufacturing Executive for 5 major blue chip companies, namely :-

• Finmeccanica ex- SELEX GALILEO, (SAP Implementation 5 sites);
• BAE Systems (Operations Director & Built new £52M site for 1100 people);
• Raytheon (Lean, Six Sigma Belt and Manufacturing Executive);
• Siemens (Manufacturing Executive) and 
• British Aerospace (from under graduate Apprentice to Product Centre 4 Manager, 

with the responsibility for departments ranging from the Drawing Office and Estimating, through Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality and Systems Test to after-sales service. 

He has also been responsible for Facilities, Business Continuity, Ethics and Environmental, Health & Safety.
