In this series of articles, I shall explore some of the business continuity incidents that have affected the Blue Chip businesses that I have worked in and dealt with. These ranged from natural disasters such as storms and snow, to man-made floods and fire, to terrorism, industrial unrest or denial of access, to power or computer failure. They include failure in the supply chain or customer chain, to key individuals becoming unable or unwilling to work.
