Business Continuity - A crisis can take many Forms

• disasters in our supply chain, 
• transportation problems (such as the ash clouds from Iceland’s volcano), 
• major incidents (such as the Bunsfield Oil Depot fire whose smoke cloud would necessitate the closure of your air conditioning system), 
• a terrorist activity (that disrupts transport or simply denies the ability for your staff to get to work), 
• a site relocation, 
• a new computer system or 
• simply inclement weather (that blows the roof off the building or snow that prevents people getting from and to work). 

Surprisingly, they have all happened in John’s career as an Operations Director and as the Director responsible for Business Continuity. Ring me, I may be able to help now before it happens or if not, when it happens:

• How would your company cope? 
• Do you have contingency plans?
• Will your staff know what to do? 
• How will you communicate with them, your customers, suppliers and the press? 
• How will you get them back when you have sent them home?
• Can the damaged paperwork be recovered?
• Can you reclaim damage costs from your insurance for the clean up and for the interruption to your business?
• Can you simply get the cleaners in, to clean up after a fire?

So many questions that need to be considered, prepared for and answered. 

There will possibly be acid residues that are invisible to the eye but that are extremely dangerous for humans.
